His upbringing and artistic beginnings
He was born in Ankara on May 19, 1972, and spent his childhood in Aydın, where his artistic talent emerged at an early age (9 years old). He founded his first band, Mavi Deniz (Blue Sea), before he turned fourteen. When he was sixteen, he began traveling between cities in Germany and Turkey before settling permanently in Istanbul in 1991, becoming one of the most prominent singers there and making his name a top trending artist in Turkey and abroad.
