Synopsis
And Then What? tells the story of Adem and Didem, a couple who have been married for seven years. What began as a fairytale romance has slowly faded into routine and emotional distance. Didem, once full of life and ambition, sacrificed her career for the sake of their marriage. But as Adem grows increasingly indifferent—spending more time with friends and football than with her—Didem begins to feel lost and unfulfilled.
In an effort to reclaim her identity, she decides to return to her profession as an architect. She hopes Adem will show the same commitment and sacrifice she once made. But just as she begins to rebuild her life, a new man enters the picture, challenging her feelings and her future.
The film explores the emotional complexities of long-term relationships, the struggle between love and personal growth, and the question: What happens after the happy ending?
